THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE FULL MOON

At the time of the Full Moon, the Sun and the Moon occupy opposite signs and so the Moon is out of the way of the Sun. The effect is that of a door suddenly opening wide that is normally closed.  Through that door or opening, approach can be made to powerful spiritual energies and to heights of awareness which at other times is not possible.  It is a time which facilitates contact with new insights, new ideas, and with outlines of the Divine Plan. The types of energies and forces are indicated by the signs or constellations in which the Sun and Moon are located.

This is the reason why group meditation meetings are being increasingly held at the time of the Full Moon.  A worldwide network of meditating groups, related to each other simply by mutual recognition of the importance of the Full Moon and with a sincere desire to serve humanity, are developing a science of approach using the Science of Invocation and Evocation.  This will be the basis of the New World Religion which will appear in the coming Aquarian Age.

These potent and beneficial spiritual energies are best invoked in group formation rather than individually if possible.  A group is better able to receive, circulate and distribute the potent energies to humanity.   If it is not possible to meditate with a group at the time of the Full Moon, then you should begin the meditation by first linking up with the members of your group. 

The period of the Full Moon is two days before and two days after, plus the actual day of the Full Moon, for a total of five days.  The two days preceding the Full Moon should be used to prepare ourselves for the Full Moon and to sensitize ourselves to the specific zodiacal energies.  The actual meditation should take place as close as possible to the time of the Full Moon.  The two days following the full moon should be used to constructively channel the energies received and to spread these new concepts gained at the Full Moon to humanity.
